Caroline Epp grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Iowa for a BA in Anthropology and a BFA in Photography.

She earned a MAT from the Rhode Island School of Design in Art Education, as well as a MFA in Photography from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.

She lives on the north shore of Boston with her retired racing greyhound True, and has been teaching design and photography for 7 years.
